Three Ways to Simplify Your Approach to Social Media
For business owners just starting on social media, the process is overwhelming. Which channel(s) should I be on? What should I post? How often should I post? These are the questions I commonly get asked.
To help you avoid getting stuck in decision fatigue, I’ve created three ways you can simplify social media today. These tips will set you up for success in beginning to master your business’ social media presence.
Focus On One Channel
Don’t try to be on every social media channel. Instead, find the channel that your target audience is on and show up there consistently.
Focus On One Format or Feature
One of the easiest things you can do is focus on one format or feature. That means decide if you want to create short form video, blogs, stories, or graphics. Choose a format that is the easiest for conveying your content and one you know your target audience will love to interact with. Then, forget about the rest.
Focus On the Same Days of The Week
Choose a day or days of the week that you are going to post. Maybe that’s every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or just once a week on Thursdays. Either way, pick a day and show up consistently every week.
Use these tips to simplify your social media, authentically talk to your target audience, and find joy in the process. I'm giving you permission to DO LESS and feel good about it!
Once you master the above, then you can focus on adding on more.
If you’re still feeling stuck with what to do next on social media, that’s what I’m here for. When you’re ready to level up your game, here are a few ways I can help.
